3 Players That Would Improve Man Utd
#1
Name: Gary Cahill
Club: Bolton
value: £15m
Ferguson has ruled out spending big on a defender during this transfer window but, given the recent injury crisis which saw Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick have to fill in at centre-back, this assertion could be taken with a pinch of salt. A bid in the region of £15m for impressive last-ditch defender Cahill could well tempt Bolton into trading him in and giving the money to new manager Owen Coyle for squad rebuilding.

Name: Ashley Young
Club: Aston Villa
value: £20m
Former Watford wide man Young has struggled to recapture his form of last season but Ferguson will know that he is still a tremendous talent. He cannot keep relying on Ryan Giggs for ever and, with his ability to beat men and hug the touchline, Young could prove to be a rewarding project for Ferguson. Witness the improvement of Antonio Valencia since he moved to Old Trafford from Wigan Athletic in the summer.

Name: Edin Dzeko
Club: Wolfsburg
value: £20m
Wayne Rooney is magnificent but susceptible to going games at a time without scoring, Dimitar Berbatov remains far from convincing and Michael Owen cannot be relied upon for form or fitness. As such, United still need more strike power and the prolific Bosnian Dzeko is sure to have caught Ferguson’s eye after scoring against United in successive Champions League games earlier this season. Prolific and strong in the air, Dzeko would give United the kind of robustness in attack that they have lacked perhaps since Mark Hughes.

yeah would be a nice fast team then wouldnt it!
there is no team in the PL that has two full backs that could deal with them only chelsea but they would find it very hard!
There for Cahil would be super if we could get Shawcross also!
two of these deals would be nice

It's nice living in dreamland when Fergie does not want to buy anyone !! Or maybe we don't have the cash with all the debt by the Glazers !

Even Man City are getting Vieira and the Argentine fullback Ansaldi - they will probably thrash us now!! We are the laughing stock after the Leeds loss! And Fergie has the gall to put the blame solely on the players!

If things don't change, it's a downhill struggle from now on!

Sarahmic i see you fustrated but look we all are! look at the hard time fergie went true when he first got the job and now look he made him self the best manager EVER! he will pull us out of this and will make sure we get players for the right price when he feels we need them he will get them.
There are many fans including me saying "WE NEED TO BUY HE HIM SO ON" Fergie is a genius and knows what he is doing what out us telling him what to do if you catch my drift.
But we will all keep the red flag flying hight and UNITED WILL NEVER DIE!!!!

I think that we should make a move for Jack Wilshere.
An attacking midfielder with a turn of pace would be a useful asset for us just now.
Wenger is prepared to let him out on loan, to gain experience .... so why not ?

Mind you, whether Arsene would allow him to come to United is another matter.
It's worth a punt though.
