CONFIRMED: Di Maria Leaves United
#1
Angel Di Maria has completed his move from Manchester United to Paris Saint-Germain on a four-year contract.

The clubs agreed a £44.3m fee for the transfer of the Argentine last weekend and United confirmed the deal had been done on their Twitter feed.

United tweeted: "#mufc can confirm the sale of Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain is complete. We wish him well for the future."

Manchester United flop Angel Di Maria has shocker on full debut for Paris Saint-Germain!!

Angel Di Maria’s bad run of form seems to have continued after leaving Manchester United for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

The Argentinian winger made his first start for the French outfit on Friday against Bordeaux and his stats from the game do not make for great reading.

PSG drew the game 2-2 but Di Maria barely made an impression on the match, failing to score, assist, create any chances or attempt any tackles.

The 27-year-old was sold by United for £44million in the transfer window just a year after he arrived at Old Trafford from Real Madrid.

Maybe Louis van Gaal was right to cash-in on Di Maria after all…

Quote:Angel Di Maria has admitted he never wanted to leave Real Madrid and join Manchester United.

Di Maria joined Paris Saint-Germain in a £44.3m deal from United in the summer - just a year after moving to Old Trafford from Real for £59.7m in 2014.

The Argentina international recently criticised United boss Louis van Gaal over his way of working, admitting it made him want to leave Old Trafford.

And in a recent interview with Spanish newspaper Marca, the 27-year-old revealed he would have preferred to stay at the Bernabeu.

He said: "My intention was always to stay at Madrid. I don't really know what happened on the inside of the deal - these are things that representatives deal with. It happens in football.

He had an ok start at PSG but now he's getting criticized for trying too hard and wanting to do everything on his own.

Personally I think there is a fantastic footballer in there somewhere but I'm glad he's gone.
Maybe just got led astray and distracted too much by agents, wife and whatever else - inflated ego?

Wonder what will be next after PSG.
They should interview his wife and see where she fancies living next. :p

I think he was badly affected by the break in at his house. He needs to move to a gated community?
