A frozen pitch at Altrincham's Moss Lane stadium means United's Barclays Premier Reserve League North clash with Burnley has been postponed.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Warren Joyce's charges are the current league leaders and had been looking to maintain, or extend, a two-point advantage at the top of the table with the visit of the Clarets.

However, another bout of cold weather demanded a pitch inspection at Moss Lane this afternoon, where it was decided that the game could not go ahead.

The Reds' second string are next in action against Everton on Thursday 18 February at Altrincham.
