Rubbish Unbeaten Run
#1
This makes interesting reading:

Manchester United have gone 20 games without defeat - but their 10 draws during that streak means it is the least productive long unbeaten run in Premier League history.

There have been 15 other occasions when a Premier League team has gone unbeaten for 20 games or more, and in each instance they have recorded a better win rate than United's 50 per cent return.

The previous worst win percentage during a long unbeaten streak was when Chelsea took 11 wins and 10 draws from their games between August 1998 and January 1999, earning a 52.4 per cent win percentage.

In contrast, United's 21-game undefeated spell between December 2002 and August 2003 yielded 18 wins and just three draws - a win percentage of 85.7 per cent.

Where is it going wrong? Has Jose's public slating of players served the opposite effect that he wanted? Is it purely loss of confidence? Are the opposition wise to the 'United way' and just sit deeper against us? Are there still square pegs in round holes? Are there too many fringe or squad players in the starting line up?

What do you think?
