Zoran Tosic, who has joined Cologne on loan until the end of the season is close to making the 1st team.

"He is definitely going to be in the squad, but a start may be a bit too early," revealed Cologne coach Zvonimir Soldo.

The Croatian boss is therefore likely to keep faith with the same team which beat the champions 3-2 last weekend, meaning Novakovic will also be given a watching role from the start.

Finally played for FC Köln. Got on as sub and got booked! No video (yet), but a match report:

On the 20th match day of the season, 1. FC Köln picked up all three points once again with a 2-1 (0-0) away win at Eintracht Frankfurt. 45,100 spectators at the Commerzbank Arena saw Chris (76') put the home side back level after Maniche (59') had given FC the lead. FC took all three points in the end though when Frankfurt's Marco Russ turned the ball over his own goal-line with six minutes to go.

Trainer Zvonimir Soldo saw no need to make any alterations to the starting eleven that beat VfL Wolfsburg 3-2 last weekend and left the fit again Milivoje Novakovic as well as new signing from Manchester United, Zoran Tosic, on the bench.

Throughout the first 45 minutes, FC were most impressive in their defensive activities. The home side had the bulk of the possession but never really looked to threaten Faryd Mondragon's goal. Köln's best chance of the half was a shot from distance by Adil Chihi (17'), which Eintracht keeper Oka Nikolov was well able to deal with, and with Russ (37') missing out for Frankfurt, the sides went in at the break at 0-0.

After the re-start, both teams distinctly raised the tempo and FC made the running. Nikolov was twice called into action to deal with efforts from Freis (50') and Chihi (53'). Six minutes later though, the Eintracht keeper could do nothing to prevent Maniche converting a pass from Sebastian Freis to give FC a 1-0 lead.

Frankfurt went in immediate search of an equaliser and their ever increasing pressure was finally rewarded in the 76th minute. A Frankfurt corner was twice cleared off the goal-line before Chris eventually forced the ball home to make it 1-1.

The hosts had their tails up having drawn back level but a Petit free-kick in the 84th minute was nodded on dangerously by Pezzoni into the penalty area, where Russ, in attempting to clear, turned the ball past his own keeper to hand FC a 2-1 lead. Despite their best efforts, there was to be no way back for Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Köln can head back home with all three points in the bag.

Oh, ok. Was a good strike, though. I wonder where he will be next season? With Nani in such good form and Park there to offer options, is there room for Tosic at United now? He isn't setting Germany on fire with superb performances every week, is he.
