He needs to. We need some experience at the back, to help Jonny or Wes. I think those 2 are quite similar in style - they like to play a bit of football, so a bit of tough at the back won't go amiss. At least we won't have to se Carrick and Fletch back there now!

Yeah good to see Carrick and Fletcher back to there regular positions. Let's hope Vidic's return is as strong as Rio's was. Been brilliant in the game's he's played.

He would have missed the Gooners match, anyway. Well, unless the commission found him not guilty. Real shame, but the strength in depth of our squad is getting back to how it should be.
