I had the old badge tattoo on my right shoulder when I was 17 years old. It was done with a black outline, black writing and then the colors added. It looked fab for a few years BUT I must say that after 16 years it now looks rather crap, old, stretched and lets say not very good. I would advise that the best alternative would be to only have it done in black (No other colors at all as you have shown in the pictures) At least that way it will age well and can be redone if it fades.
