RE: Champions League 2010 - WatchMUFC - 03-07-2009 10:26 PM nah mate that Hibernians team is different to Hibernian Of Scotland There from Malta lol RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 03-07-2009 10:59 PM Oh, I though it was strange Hibernian got in! RE: Champions League 2010 - red3636 - 04-07-2009 09:35 PM Do the Arse have to play in a qualifying round? RE: Champions League 2010 - WatchMUFC - 04-07-2009 10:08 PM yea but not until mid august ight now there at the round where you have to qualify to get to the qualifying round ha there in the last one RE: Champions League 2010 - unitedman - 10-07-2009 07:13 PM haha starts very early doesn't it 32 days after the final I think RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 10-07-2009 10:10 PM There is a possible danger for Arsenal this year as the qualifying rounds are unseeded so they could meet a very tough side. RE: Champions League 2010 - unitedman - 10-07-2009 10:26 PM haha I would love that Imagine they were knocked out straght away before even making it to the league stage RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 10-07-2009 10:31 PM Yeah, it would be awesome to see all the fans faces after that. But I think they should make it through in all seriousness. Real Madrid are my favourites this year simply due to the goals the should score however I think we can be there or there abouts come may! RE: Champions League 2010 - unitedman - 10-07-2009 10:33 PM the finals on in Reals ground so I can't see real winning it in there own ground that just never happens RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 10-07-2009 10:35 PM Yeah I know what you mean but if you have a chance at winning it would be on your own ground as you are used to it and all. I can't wait till 2011 when the final is at Wembley! RE: Champions League 2010 - unitedman - 10-07-2009 10:48 PM did you also know that the finals are on saturday evenings from now on ![]() :mf_bobby::mf_bobby: RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 10-07-2009 10:54 PM Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, i'm not so sure if that is a good idea, champions league games are famous for midweek nights so to move the final is strange! RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 11-07-2009 04:17 AM are you serious about the final being on a sat RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 11-07-2009 11:54 AM http://www.rediff.com/sports/2007/dec/01champs.htm He definitely was! RE: Champions League 2010 - red3636 - 12-07-2009 11:55 PM There was added pressure a few seasons ago when the final was in Glasgow?. I think it was the year that Sir Alex was supposed to be retiring and they we saying what a fitting swansong it would have been for him to win the European Cup in his home town? That did not happen thankfully(Sir Alex retiring)and the rest as they say is history? My point is that Real Madrid have HUGE expectations this season after all the money they have spent and they will want to win the European Cup so,so bad on their home ground? How nice would it be to knock them out in the second leg of a Semi-Final at O.T to deprive them of the chance and then go over to Madrid and do Barcelona in the final. I think it is destiny that we will play them at some stage this season? BRING IT ON!!! RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 13-07-2009 12:16 AM Yes that would be great and you just see Ronaldo shaking his head knowing he shouldn't have gone and his replacement Valencia gets the winner, imagine! RE: Champions League 2010 - WatchMUFC - 14-07-2009 02:05 AM ahhhhhhhhh dat would be crazy every united fan would be looking on with a huge smile on there face sayin "haha f**k u u twat u dont move from united and g 2 bigger things" well dats wat ill b tinkin nyway RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 14-07-2009 09:25 AM sat nite is really good for the final cause the pubs will stay open late and then on to a nite club RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 14-07-2009 04:57 PM Haha if only I was 18... RE: Champions League 2010 - yi72 - 20-07-2009 02:09 PM i hope utd in 2010 final RE: Champions League 2010 - woodie2k8 - 26-07-2009 01:31 PM man utd to win
RE: Champions League 2010 - bluskey - 29-07-2009 07:10 PM i reckon we have a strong enough team to do it this season RE: Champions League 2010 - Arron_MUFC - 30-07-2009 06:57 PM utd madrid final hopefully RE: Champions League 2010 - bobby11690 - 30-07-2009 08:32 PM i hope utd can win it this year..but i think barcelona are the strongest this year again RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 31-07-2009 12:26 AM Time will tell guys, I think if the squad can hit the ground running this yeah we have a good chance but so many teams have improved! RE: Champions League 2010 - unitedman - 01-08-2009 02:34 PM Chelsea V Madrid Final if I'm being realistic United V Chelsea Final if I'm listening my heart RE: Champions League 2010 - leok84 - 16-08-2009 04:50 PM we will win RE: Champions League 2010 - kasaki - 17-08-2009 03:34 AM I think madrid will lose to either chelsea/united/or barca in the semi finals (i doublt barca will get that far) , chelsea are physical and shut down barca so madrid would be easy, united would gladly welcome ronaldo back to some hard premiership tackles LOL RE: Champions League 2010 - blah_united - 17-08-2009 10:26 PM i still want arsenal in the competition RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 18-08-2009 09:50 AM well we will have to see what celtic do to them tonight RE: Champions League 2010 - WatchMUFC - 19-08-2009 10:23 AM celtic 0-2 arsenal celtic were unlucky with a cruel deflection and a og cant seee them going through now RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 26-08-2009 09:54 AM second leg tonight, celtic were really unlucky last week but i hope they pull an upset on arsenal and send wenger crying RE: Champions League 2010 - chazza - 26-08-2009 03:44 PM Yeah, come on the hoops! But I can't see any other result than an Arsenal win and possibly by a big margin. RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 26-08-2009 04:07 PM you never now, we were all saying that last week about the utd-burnley game RE: Champions League 2010 - WatchMUFC - 26-08-2009 04:17 PM is it on tv? if not I will add streams for everyone to watch RE: Champions League 2010 - Respect Me - 26-08-2009 06:44 PM i dont think so only on sky sports RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 16-09-2009 09:56 PM Talking of TV, I can't believe that I've got no choice of matches to watch on ITV tonight! Only the Wheel Stealers and nothing on ITV2! Wish I had Sky! Off to live streams to laugh at Arsenal! 2-0 after 5 minutes, ha, ha, ha! RE: Champions League 2010 - ro7naldo - 20-09-2009 01:47 PM it woukd be fansatstic RE: Champions League 2010 - wizwizard - 20-09-2009 02:31 PM I'd love to see a 4-way English Semi final. That would be... No, actually that would be a bit boring. I'm going to root for all the "small" teams, like Debrecen. RE: Champions League 2010 - DaleDaManc - 22-09-2009 01:47 PM i have a feeling that we are going to meet up with real madrid in the knock out and if i was the manager id sign silva, ageuro and modiric in january then we could show up like van der sar hargreves vidic ferdinand evra silva fletcher modiric nani/giggs rooney ageuro start of keeping the ball and then hit them on the counter thats how we would beat madrid!!!! RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 22-09-2009 03:36 PM If any of these players have played for anyone else in any European tie, then they cannot play for another side in that season. SAF does not usually do big business in January. Hold on until the summer. I know it's your birthday, but you've had your presents, now. And we didn't get any cake!!! RE: Champions League 2010 - DaleDaManc - 22-09-2009 04:51 PM o yeah forgot hahaha lol RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 29-09-2009 02:32 PM but modric is out now and has he played for spurs in any euro tie this season or was he injured before that???? RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 29-09-2009 04:08 PM Are Spurs in Europe? if they are, I hadn't noticed, lol. Can't see it on their website, either: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/matches/matches_frr.html RE: Champions League 2010 - DaleDaManc - 29-09-2009 05:50 PM no i dont think they are! RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 30-09-2009 09:53 AM oh i tought they were, then modric wouldnt be cup-tied RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 18-03-2010 09:25 AM I have to say that I thought Barca were supreme again last night! If you let Messi or Iniesta play, they'll destroy you. And that was without Xabi! Once again, they showed world class passing and movement off the ball. They are definitely the biggest opposition in this year's competition? RE: Champions League 2010 - Vazza - 18-03-2010 04:37 PM opp Attack was sooo Lame! Tho Barca started without IBRA :D RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 18-03-2010 05:09 PM Stuttgart were supposed to start by stopping Messi from playing. That didn't work, did it? What a left foot he's got and the way he drifts and ghosts into positions is first rate. He ain't bad, you know. RE: Champions League 2010 - Red4ever - 18-03-2010 06:14 PM I know we dont like to see Chelsea win but with them out of the CL now they will have a week to rest before they come to OT. I would have preferred to see them win and then we could have put them out later. We will have 3 big matches in a week which could be costly. Thankfully we dont have major injury problems at the moment. In relation to the Mickey Mouse cup, (europa league) I hope liverpool win 1-0 and take the tie to extra time. that should burn them out and hopefully they wont be fully recovered by Sunday. Of couse i hope they get beat in extra time, but who doesn,t RE: Champions League 2010 - Vazza - 18-03-2010 09:27 PM C scott Bravoooooooooo .... i also wish te same :D

I am looking forward to training tonight, as 1 of the parents is Italian and a Juve fan! Excited about the draw for the proper competition, though! RE: Champions League 2010 - Vazza - 19-03-2010 01:41 PM Champions League QF Draw Home ----------------------- Away Olympique Lyonnais--------------Girondins Bordeaux Bayern Munich-------------------Manchester United Arsenal--------------------------Barcelona Internazionale-------------------CSKA Moscow RE: Champions League 2010 - RambleOnRed - 19-03-2010 01:47 PM The winner of Bayern and Man Utd will play the victor of Lyon and Bordeaux in semi-final 1. :D Semi-final 2 will feature the winner of Inter and CSKA Moscow versus the winner of Arsenal and Barcelona. RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 19-03-2010 01:50 PM Poor old Gooners! Another trophy-less season! A fairly kind draw for us. Remember, the matches last for 90 minutes PLUS stoppage time! RE: Champions League 2010 - RambleOnRed - 19-03-2010 01:56 PM Pretty hectic schedule ahead. Bolton - Away - 27 March CL 1st Leg - March 30-31 (Away to Munich) Chelsea - Home - 3 April CL 2nd Leg - April 6-7 (At Home to Munich) RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 19-03-2010 02:02 PM Yup! The games come thick and fast when you are a successful side! RE: Champions League 2010 - Vazza - 19-03-2010 02:14 PM Good Thng is we play away match First ![]() draw made for last season finalist prospects .. another united vs barca will be awsome ... Tho easy match for inter in QF ... poor french teams meets each other in QF itself :D RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 19-03-2010 02:24 PM Battle of France for them. I can't see the gooners beating Barca. Honestly, no chance. Inter / Barca SF should be good. RE: Champions League 2010 - Ronaldinosa - 19-03-2010 02:47 PM So we face ze Germans again . No real fear there then . And when we beat them we march over the border like a Panzer Tank into France to scupper any plans they had of a trip to Spain as well . Looks like Jose could be responsible for knocking out both of Abramoviches teams this year , bet he'll love that ! And Cesc gets to rub shoulders with his new team mates from Catalan RE: Champions League 2010 - sypher - 19-03-2010 02:55 PM We lost with Bayern Munich in this seasson already in Audi Cup but now i think that we have a big chance to win. Points 1 Bayern Munich 26 16 8 2 53:22 31 56 2 FC Schalke 04 26 16 6 4 42:20 22 54 Not bad :D top scorer Gomez 13 overall RE: Champions League 2010 - andrewcmufc - 25-03-2010 04:43 AM i cant see us being beat here, looks like we are headin for the bernbau RE: Champions League 2010 - Noucamp99 - 28-04-2010 08:30 AM So Bayern blew away Lyon in the 1st semi final, with Olic scoring the perfect hat-trick - left foot, right foot and a header. That's the last 3 games that they've scored 4 goals over two legs, isn't it? Will be a tough side to beat, whoever gets through tonight. RE: Champions League 2010 - RambleOnRed - 28-04-2010 10:45 PM inter through, despite the rubbish ref. I was hoping for Motta to throw a punch at Sergio biscuit brain. RE: Champions League 2010 - Vazza - 28-04-2010 11:22 PM hehehe .. ya .... good actor sergio and great tatic by barca .... but nothng works against te defence whore inter :D RE: Champions League 2010 - Vazza - 22-05-2010 08:29 PM ****Defence whore vs D'whore .... RE: Champions League 2010 - P211 - 23-05-2010 12:06 PM looks like mourinho is leaving to real madrid after his CL victory. he was waving to the inter fans after the game, and ppl say its a goodbye wave. RE: Champions League 2010 - RambleOnRed - 23-05-2010 12:17 PM (23-05-2010 12:06 PM)P211 Wrote: looks like mourinho is leaving to real madrid after his CL victory. he was waving to the inter fans after the game, and ppl say its a goodbye wave. Yeah, he's almost definitely moving: Quote:"My work here is done. I have made history with this club. I will find motivations in another big club. Playing against Barcelona in Spain? That would be a big challenge. I have been very happy at Inter, but not in the world of Italian football because I don’t like all the comments from presidents, coaches and papers. But, I will always like Inter. I want to thank Italian football because I have become a better coach for it. Now it’s time for me to take a day or two to think about a new challenge in another country. I have given everything for this team and I feel free to make a decision on my future. I want to become the first coach to win the Champions League with three different clubs. It’s more probable that I’ll go than stay. Everybody knows that English football is my passion and I’ll go back to England once. But I think every player, every coach if you don’t play for Real Madrid or if you don’t coach Real Madrid you have always a little space in your career. So if I decide to come to Real Madrid I’ll be a very proud man." - Jose Mourinho. RE: Champions League 2010 - Ronaldinosa - 23-05-2010 07:37 PM thats the downside to Mourinho , he doesnt hang around long . Still dont think hes achieved anything yet for him to be declared 'Special' . Bored his way to the final with diving and cheating at Porto , won the Prem with the richest team in the world and unlimited funds , now won Serie A with Inter although i am struggling to find a challenger . Great winning the CL though . It will be interesting to see him at Real , he will be under more pressure than hes ever been before , for him to be declared 'Special' he needs to do it with a smaller team ie Lazio etc |
