Could Nani be the next out the door?

Quote:Arsenal have reportedly joined inter Milan, Juventus and Benfica in showing an interest in landing the Portugal international's signature this summer.

Nani started in all three of Portugal's Group G matches in the World Cup in Brazil but is heading home after they were eliminated after finishing third despite beating Ghana 2-1 in their final match on Thursday.

"I'm a United player but there has been some interest on my behalf," Nani told Portuguese sports newspaper Abola.

"I will evaluate it and decide what is the most advantageous for me. A return to Portugal? Right now I don't know."

And Shaw surely [sorry Smile ] to sign today?

Quote:Luke Shaw is expected to complete his move to Manchester United later today after a fee of around £30m was agreed with Southampton, Sky Sports understands.

The England left-back, who returned from the World Cup with the rest of the squad on Wednesday, is still to undergo a medical but no problems are anticiapted - he will then go on holiday.

Portuguese reports claim Manchester United have sent a delegation to negotiate a fee for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

The 22-year-old has been an on-off target for United over recent months with concerns that he is over-priced at £37.5million - his buy-out clause.

Monaco and Chelsea have also shown an interest with the affluent French league side in particular tipped to land the Portugal international having already offered £27million.

Speculation has resurfaced in Italy to link Patrice Evra with a move to Juventus once again. The French left-back was linked with a switch to Serie A towards the end of last season but then in May Manchester United activated a one-year extension to his contract. Luke Shaw has since moved to Old Trafford from Southampton and Juve have now reportedly revived their interest in Evra, although it is doubtful that United would allow him to leave.

Fellaini on his way???

Quote:Marouane Fellaini's disastrous spell as Manchester United player looks to be coming to an end after new manager Louis Van Gaal instructed the club to sell him, according to the Daily Mail.
Fellaini, widely considered a flop at Old Trafford since his £27 million move from Everton last summer, has featured heavily in Belgium's World Cup campaign and scored after coming on as a substitute in their opening game in Brazil.
However, the newspaper claims Van Gaal has told his new club's bosses that Fellaini is "not a United type of player" and wants chief executive Ed Woodward to offload the midfielder before the start of the new season.
It also suggests that Van Gaal has been vocal in who he wants to keep at the club and who he believes can move on.
Fellaini was bought by Van Gaal's predecessor David Moyes, who was sacked by United in April following a calamitous 10-month spell in charge, but struggled for form and with injuries as the team endured their worst campaign for years.
Moyes, though, consistently defended Fellaini's contribution at United despite the 26-year-old attracting widespread criticism over his performances.

Of course, United being the great club it is, we are linked with anyone:

Quote:Galatasaray have admitted that they would be powerless to prevent Wesley Sneijder leaving if they receive an offer of 20million euros (£16million).

The Holland international has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United this summer following the appointment of Louis van Gaal as the Premier League club’s manager.

Still looking likely this one:

Quote:Manchester United defender Patrice Evra is expected to complete a move to Italian champions Juventus by the end of Thursday, according to Sky sources.

The 33-year-old has been at Old Trafford since January 2006, when he was signed from Monaco for £5million.

Despite growing speculation about his future throughout last season, Evra signed a one-year contract with United in May.

Bebe could be on his way to Benfica. Remember him??

Sky Sports are reporting that this could happen!

RE: United Transfer Rumours and Gossip - Noucamp99 - 14-07-2014

So, if Bebe goes, who should replace him? Well, it seems that Edinson Cavani has instructed his agent to investigate a potential move to the Premier League.

The 27-year-old Uruguay international joined Paris Saint-Germain from Napoli for around £55m last summer and signed a five-year contract, but now appears keen on a move away from the French capital.

And the news will be of particular interest to Chelsea and Manchester United, who have both been linked with the forward.

RE: United Transfer Rumours and Gossip - Noucamp99 - 21-07-2014

It looks like United are in the market for more players and there is money available, with Ed Woodward reported as saying:

"There is no fixed budget. Financially we are extremely strong, we have funds available," Woodward told MUTV.

"Louis is the boss and is assessing what's going on but we have been in dialogue for some time about targets so there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes... we're continuing to move forward on some of those targets... so watch this space. The time he (Van Gaal) spends here as well (in America) he'll be able to assess more what he's got and continue to tweak the decisions if we need to. We want to do what it takes to win the title."

Maybe no repeat of the fiasco that was last summer?

Chicharito has the chance to show LVG what he can do, having just arrived on the pre-season tour. LVG said:

Quote:I have only seen him under another coach so far. He has arrived today and now I can see him play in a game. Then I can talk about him

Inter Milan are said to be looking at Chicharito, because they are looking to rebuild, too.
