Patrice Evra has signed a new Manchester United contract.

The left-back's deal was due to expire next month, but a 12-month extension will keep him at Old Trafford into a 10th year.

Evra was linked with a return to previous club Monaco during the final months of David Moyes' reign, and United recently tabled a £27m bid for Southampton's Luke Shaw.

Shouldn't it be 9th year or am i wrong.He joined in 2006 right..?? So working out all the math,he has been there for 8 years and has extended it by 1 more.
Its great news for all united fans.He scored a brilliant goal against munich in the champions league,but sadly to no avail.
So all those talks of moving to juventus was all but a rumor..??
