I was reading the bbc and this games has the most up for grabs. Ireland win they go 1st in group and have sealed at least a play off place. If Italy win Ireland can only get play off place? Is that how it works? If not someone should tell us how it will work

Didn't see any football this weekend, as we were in Nice (have I maybe mentioned that, already??). Too much good food and good drink to be had in hot weather to wander into bars to see any games.
Anyway, what does that mean for the Irish now, in terms of the World Cup?

we are in the pay offs now so wint he m and we are in the group stages, now we could play russia or france, thanks a lot sepp blatter
