Sorry guys, but with the announcement of the debt yesterday, United no longer sit at the top table in the transfer world. Should someone like Ribery come available today, for around £50m, let's say, it would become a bidding war between citeh, chelski, Barca and Madrid. Even AC and Inter would be able to top anything we can offer. We're in dire straits at the moment and it doesn't look good. SAF would not be able to compete with their cheque books.
