Coppell for me, as he was part of my early years following United. Of course, he didn't have the flare of Ronny, but he had the flares!! I liked him with Hill, too. Giggsy through the ages, too. What pace and talent! You might even consider Lee Sharpe and Kanchelskis, too? They were good players.
All these players put bums on seats! We've been spoiled at United, haven't we?

i have to say giggsy was and still is amazing, what he has done for this club in his 19 years here is legendary. He could have moved to clubs in italy and spain after we won the treble but didnt and stayed and will prob stay till the end of his career

Great call with Giggs. The longevity of the man to do it at the very top for so long probably swings it. I just have a soft spot, if you like, for the players from my early days of following United. This could run and run. Like Giggs!
Great thread, methinks. Rep points for Iansmith.

its giggs for me, as well
total legend, it would be a discrace to make a prem poster or something with him not in the middle
Giggsy! The number of EPL titles he has won is amazing. Most decorated and professional modern footballer.
Giggs hands down, in my lifetime at least anyway. I was a whipper snapper when Strachan was around but I did like him too, and Kanchelskis.
