I saw this on SSN this morning. It seems there is still life and passion in the old boy in charge of United. And it's not just the young or cocky players that feel his wrath at times!!!

Manchester United winger Nani has revealed just how tough life can be under Sir Alex Ferguson.

In an in-depth interview with Portuguese newspaper 'I' - the United flyer reveals how quickly Ferguson can turn.

But he admits that Ferguson does not just pick on certain players and that United legends Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville are often on the end of his tirades.

"Ferguson is a very complicated man," he stated.

"He's tough. If things are all right, then they are all right. But when he thinks something is wrong, everything is screwed.

"He can go from complimenting you to just plain trashing you in a matter of minutes. Has it happened to me? Hell, yes! He'll say 'Nani, how could you miss this or this'?"

"He shouts at players in front of everyone. No one escapes, everybody is the same. Giggs and Neville suffer most, because they have more experience. It is 'F**k' here and 'F**k' there."

Mismanaged

And in what could rile Ferguson more than anything, Nani agreed with the interviewer that he was being a little 'mismanaged' by United.

"I think so, but there is still a long way in the championship remaining, but I did not play the important matches, against Liverpool, Manchester City or Tottenham," he said.

"Not playing these games, I am a bit sad - but I also played with an injury so let's see if things improve.

"People expect more from me and it's not easy. But they are also not doing what they said they were going to.

"I know it would be better if I scored more goals.

"I can have a spectacular game but nobody guarantees me I will be starting the next match. It shatters your confidence."

Despite some negative comments, Nani insisted he was not looking to leave Old Trafford.

"No, no," he said. "I don't even think about that."

Maybe, as well, with the revelation that he's been playing with an injury, we might see an improvement now he's fit again? I was impressed that he was not a happy bunny being dropped for a couple of games. Fight for your place!
A nice little glimpse of an insiders life at OT.
Great to know SAF treats all squad members the same, equal bollockings for all.

At least Nani's attitude towards his future at OT seems to be right on.
As he appears to have been playing with an injury, then he can only get better - can't he ?
I, for one, look forward to the time that he can reveal to us the consummate skills that SAF first saw in him.
we expected too much from him........
i still remember Nani vs arsenal(4-0).... he scored twice and assisted twice Sad
he become very selfish....,and forget to cross the ball....
nani should learn from A.valencia
i think this statement was "Nani's letter of resignation" Sad
I hope he doesn't learn from Valencia, because that'll detract from his game. What I mean is that Valencia has, so far, only shown glimpses of being able to go outside the full back and cannot cut in, because he hasn't the confidence to use his left foot. Nani has shown that he is two-footed and can go both sides of a full-back.
Valencia is a better defender, though.
Maybe they work together and learn from each other?

RE: (1.)
I agree that he became selfish. Probably thought he was Ronaldo reincarnate.
His crosses, when they came, could be good but most were truly appalling.

RE: (2.)
I can't see it, not at this time. Although it does depend on whether SAF has run out of 'WAKE UP!!!' calls.

Of course, once injury free, he must show us vast improvements in performance as well as (team play) attitude, and in the sooner rather than later.
If not, .... then I'll be giving you 'Rep Points', - for foresight.
yea he has become very selfish and seems to want to be the next ronaldo, but he just isint making the effort for rooney or berba and thats why i think that obertan should be ahead of him in the team as he seems to pass all the time never goes for glory, we'll maybe he will the odd time but nani goes most of the time.
Six famous Sir Alex Ferguson fall-outs

1..Paul Ince
His self-styled ‘Guvnor’ persona riled Ferguson. The Scot ended up labelling the midfielder a “bottler” and a “------- big-time Charlie” before shipping him out to Inter Milan in 1995.

2.Jaap Stam
The Dutch defender was sold to Lazio in 2001 after alleging in his autobiography Head to Head that Ferguson had approached him about joining United without the permission of his previous club, PSV Eindhoven. Years later Ferguson admitted he had made a mistake

3.David Beckham
His deteriorating relationship with Ferguson literally came to a head following an FA Cup defeat to Arsenal in Feb 2003, when the manager allegedly threw or kicked a boot that struck Beckham over the eye. Beckham was sold to Real Madrid during the summer of 2003.

4...Roy Keane
His position as captain looked unshakeable, but he angered Ferguson by complaining about facilities at pre-season training and with repeated criticism of team-mates. He left the club in Nov 2005.

5..Ruud van Nistelrooy
Spent six matches on the bench towards the end of the 2005-2006 season. It was later suggested he had been ""punished following a training ground fight with Cristiano Ronaldo"". Van Nistelrooy was sold to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

6.Cristiano Ronaldo
Things turned sour in June last year when reports emerged linking the Portuguese winger with a move to Real Madrid. Ronaldo's angry response to being substituted during a 2-0 derby win over Manchester City revealed tensions between the pair and Madrid eventually got their man for £80  million in June.

7.will it be Nani ?

Nani to Real Madrid for £80m, following a strop after being subbed v citeh? I hope so, lol!

TBH, I think he will realise what is needed and be a better player after recovering his fitness.
he is a really good passer when he does pass and is really skillfull but if he copes on and helps his teammates then he will become a big name for utd
