I love this guys energy and the space he gives us is great. He has been a good signing and i was suprised to see today that he has played the most games for United this season so far, but has he scored a goal yet that hasnt been deflected in ? Im not so sure ! To be honest who cares as long as they go in but its an observation i thought id share with you.
a goals a goal Smile great player
Ya!
both him and Rooney are combining well Wink
great strength... with pace..
he tackles te ball exellently, unexpected by te opponent Big Grin hahah
im really impressed with him. Its not easy stepping up from Wigan to United, and yet he's got 4 goals and a few assists to his name.
He's done OK. I am disappointed that a guy in this league doesn't have a left foot! So many times he has had opportunities after turning the full back inside out to deliver with his left, but he goes back to his right. Options!
Also, he needs to gain a little more confidence to go around the full back more often.

Having said that, he has knitted into the team well, works really hard both up and down the pitch and has loads of energy. I think he will grow into a World class player! Seriously! I'm sure the left foot will come.

yea defently something I have been saying for a while nice to hear someone agree
ah i have to dissagree i think when he came he was always going to find it hard having to be in ronaldo's shawdow a he is now getting better in every game he play's. so next year id say we could have a superstar on ur hands people

You may disagree, donlerz, but neither I nor Steve compared him to Ronny. There is no comparison, as they are different players. We both said that at this level, it is pretty poor that a wide man is not two-footed. These days, you need the confidence to use the weaker foot.

He has settled in pretty well, but there is room for improvement.
well tell me a player that there is no need for improvment?

Pele. Bobby Moore. George Best. Cantona. Kaka (maybe). Messi. How's that for starters?

I think these are some of the best players the World has ever seen. Practice to keep at the highest levels, but once they reached their peak, how can you improve on perfection?

The yougsters, yes, work hard, stay behind at training and work on those areas that are weak. Like using the weaker foot!
