Ryan Giggs has finally put pen to paper and extended his contract for yet another year at Old Trafford.
This will be Ryan's 37th. Year with the club, in which time he's accumulated a remarkable tally of 32 Senior Honours, inc..
Some record .... what ???
His first appearance for United came during the 1990/91 Season and he became a team regular as from the following years campaign. Apart from trophys won, Giggsy holds the club record for competitive appearances, (beating Sir Bobby Charltons then existing record of 758), and is the only player to have played and scored in every season of the Premier League since its inception. On top of that, Ryan became the first player (in UEFA's history), to have scored in 11 consecutive Champions League Seasons.
And so we could go on by adding in the numerous accolades that Ryan Giggs has been presented with, during his long and illustrious career, but I'm sure most of us are only too aware of his legendary standing within the footballing community.
