""""""""""""""Evra's funny comments"""" Big Grin

- “After 10 minutes Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink cut my ankle. It was really open; you could see the bone. The doctor signalled for a substitution. I just grabbed his hands and said, ‘If I come out [off], I kill you’.” The 28 year-old recalls the choice words he had for the Monaco medical staff during the French club’s Champions League semi-final aggregate win over Chelsea in 2004.

- “The most funny thing is, after the game, the meat was cooked. Not ready to eat, but a little bit cooked.” Evra defied medical science by cushioning the wound picked up against Chelsea with a small chicken breast, going on to play in the Champions League final against Porto.

- “You m*****f***** Hasselbaink! You can suck my p***y Lampard! You m*****f*****s!” The Frenchman’s reported outbursts in a hotel room after the 1st leg of the clash with Chelsea.

- “I call him the Korean Playboy, The Brad Pitt of Korea. You know what he tell me about this story? He says after the game when he signs autographs the English girls say ‘Ji, why do you say you don’t like the English women? We love you!’ He tells me now sometimes he sees some girl in Korea. But, no, I still haven’t one English woman for him.” Evra on his attempts to play matchmaker for United pal Park Ji-Sung.

- “I don’t drink alcohol. People wanted to drink last night. I didn’t drink when my son was born so I don’t drink when we win the Champions League!” He doesn’t even drink!?

- “If you do your stepovers on me, I will kill you. I will break your legs and rip up your shirt. I am not here for you to take the mickey out of me.” Evra reveals the stern warning he gave to former teammate and World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo before training.

- “To be honest, I’ll be the king of all c**ts if I can’t be a success under such conditions.” One of his first interviews after signing for Manchester United in January 2006.

RE: Ireland v France - Noucamp99 - 14-11-2009

Well, it was either X-Factor and Simon Cowell's disregard for the spirit of the competition or trawling the internet for a half-decent live stream of the Irish game. Well, the poor quality stream has won and I've sat through the 1st half. I tell you what, the Irish could nick it here. They just need to be aware of Anelka's movement and not give the ball away as much in the 2nd half. They have chased and put the froggies under pressure and could pinch a goal.
Quite entertaining. Better than the waste of time England friendly (money-spinner) in Doha. I watched some of the 1st half, fought to keep my eyes open and ended up going to do a pitch inspection for our game tomorrow!

RE: Ireland v France - WatchMUFC - 14-11-2009

good game innit the crowd are really up for it.

I hope the irish lads nick it.

and on the other side
