There would be greater competition for places, if he came. He is an England international, so he can't be too bad? Just think, we'd have Giggs, Obertan, Nani, Valencia, Park and Cole all trying to fill just 2 slots wide of midfield.
As I said, though, Chelski wouldn't sell him to us, BUT, as Ronaldinosa says, if he's a free agent, out of contract, then he can choose where he'd like to go. If he were to work with the greatest manager, then I think the selfish streak would soon be lost.

I see that modesty is another of your virtues, lol! He is a little old for U10 football, though. I think he'd stand out as a ringer, too!!
