COURTESY OF 'RED VIEW'.... - Storm1 - 23-04-2010 Hello, I have just opened my 'RED VIEW' e-mail and I am really happy to have viewed Sir Alex's 'Press conference video, titled... Boss: I'm going nowhere'. There also appears to be "one or two doubts", for United, "ahead of Saturday's lunch-time clash with Tottenham Hotspur". 'Wes Brown and Rio Ferdinand' have both returned to training, and are available for selection. Sir Alex, 'had hoped to also include Owen Hargreaves in his matchday squad...but the midfielder has missed the last 2 days training with a calf injury'. Sir Alex is confident that his squad is up for the challenge, 'after last weekend's late derby win at Eastlands...' He also says that, "There's been a lift, around the club this week, no doubt, there's always been a sense of atmosphere around the place, but in training, this week, it's been noticeable-the lift. Training has been competitive". He goes on to add, "We just need to do our job and let Chelsea deal with their situation. We know we have to win, thats the important thing." "Winning wont be easy, however. Spurs did United a huge favour by defeating Arsenal and Chelsea, in the space of 4 great days, but in their chase for a Champions League place, they now represent a major threat to the Reds' title hopes". "This is the best Tottenham side of my time here", Sir Alex warns. I am glad to see that those first team members' are being competitive with each other at training, as I am sure they are fully aware of how important this match is to their club, and to their fans/supporters both domestically and globally as well...(NZ...ME!) lol's Cheers. |
