what is fergie at? - andrewcmufc - 07-07-2009 after receiving nearly 90 million for ronaldo, why is fergie only buying young 16 yr olds, i know we got valencia a good talent & owen but we lost benzema and ribery also looks to be going to madrid and we really need to strengthen the squad for next season after losing two of our most influential players RE: what is fergie at? - red3636 - 07-07-2009 We should be getting at least one more World class player in i agree? The transfer window is open for ages yet and there is still loads of time?. It is important to get the right players and players who are as good as if not better than we already have? You also get the impression that Sir Alex with all the money from the Ronaldo sale will not pay more than what he believes a player is worth? And rightly so. We are not Man City who are throwing insane amounts of money at players and BEGGING them to play for us? These things take patience and it is frustrating i agree but we should be grateful that we have someone like Sir Alex sorting it out. He will know more than any of us what needs to be done. It just takes time. RE: what is fergie at? - WatchMUFC - 07-07-2009 It's early yet though facts say most transfer dealings are done end of July and all through August So we still have time yet RE: what is fergie at? - trini - 07-07-2009 We still have until the end of August..But the problem is,which player out there is worth spending silly money on?Now that Real madrid has bought them all.Fergie has always bought with the future in mind, mixed with the experienced players here already. Rumour has it Sir Alex is after Jan Huntelaar and around 20m pounds, then Milan gets to enquire also. I'm sure Sir Alex will surprise us and get a quality striker, who, will be the million dollar question..It is exciting, checking the news every morning with hopeful expectations.. RE: what is fergie at? - red3636 - 08-07-2009 Im with you trini! RE: what is fergie at? - RedEagle - 15-07-2009 SAF has said no more transfers in. I think we are going to need a lot of luck this coming season. RE: what is fergie at? - chazza - 16-07-2009 SAd generally does say that but usually gets one near the end of the window. I think he should get Silva! RE: what is fergie at? - red3636 - 16-07-2009 I just cannot see us challenging for four trophys without getting some more quality in!. RE: what is fergie at? - gmcnorton - 18-07-2009 Man Utd don't buy superstars, we make superstars, I prefer it that way, here's for keeping United an ego free club! RE: what is fergie at? - jpear30 - 18-07-2009 we need to sign aguero to finish the transfer market or possibly villa. we definitely need to think about signing casillas for van der sar when he retires. |
