Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - WatchMUFC - 24-08-2009 Well someone’s about to go get herself a little powdered barrister wig and go all Legally Blonde: UK. Because it appears Nemanja Vidic is facing a trial for an alleged slap to the face of Wigan Athletic’s Hugo Rodallega. The English FA have announced they will review the footage of Saturday’s match and pass a judgment which could see the Serbian defender out for 3 matches. Manchester United already suffer a weakened defense with Rio Ferdinand out for another 2 weeks, and Jonny Evans needing surgery and looking noticeably hurt while stepping off the pitch at the DW stadium this weekend. Referree Howard Webb said he did not see the incident occur, but Howard Webb’s record of vision isn’t exactly anything to go by (he does have a price on his head in Poland). I didn’t see the slap either. And I follow the movement of Vidlicious like a hawk. He’s innocent! I’m channeling Elle Woods as we speak. I think I’m going to go for more of an Marie Antoinette (in robes) and less for John Cleese in “A Fish Called Wanda” look. RE: Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - unitedman - 24-08-2009 nothing will happen the video evadince isnt good enough to prove anything unless there is a camera angle they havnt shown but i tink vida is safe enough RE: Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - Noucamp99 - 24-08-2009 Why don't they get United to start on negative points at the start of each season?? That way, we can win the league without having to fight off joke accusations, points deductions, possible bans and so on! The boyhood chant of "Just because you're losing" springs to mind. It's pathetic. Since when did football become a totally non-contact sport? I, too, did not see anything and I don't remember seeing anything about it on Sky. Didn't see MOTD. Did they mention it? RE: Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - unitedman - 24-08-2009 yea day said on motd that the referee done well 2 defuse it notin bout vida do RE: Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - Noucamp99 - 24-08-2009 Internet and i-player, then, to see what the fuss is all about. Really don't remember anything. RE: Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - blah_united - 24-08-2009 nothing to complain about RE: Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - Respect Me - 26-08-2009 (24-08-2009, 10:41 AM)unitedman Wrote: nothing will happen the video evadince isnt good enough to prove anything unless there is a camera angle they havnt shown but i tink vida is safe enough agreed RE: Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega - andrewcmufc - 27-08-2009 whats the latest on this??
