Superb. Although the hastily put-together defensive unit did OK against the Germans, Villa and other PL teams will be a bit more wise to it and would look to attack the flanks more, but also, get their forwards 1-on-1 with the makeshift centre backs and move them around a lot. A bit of experience will go a long way.
What about Wesley? Wasn't he ill, too? |
