Ticket troubles

I also share the problem. Just like yourself I have been a family member of one united for many years and have found it very hard to get tickets in the ballot. I was only sucessful once in the last season as well. I have also noticed the viagogo fees have gone up in price as well, charging around £20 extra on top of the ticket price. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get three tickets seated together on viagogo. I have made provisional plans to go to Manchester which have had to be cancelled and have also on one occassion watched a match on TV in the bar of a hotel in Salford Quays. My wife enjoyed the 2 days shopping in Manchester (which started out as my Christmas present from her ). At the Liverpool match in March I got one ticket at the last minute and my wife and child went to the cinema in the Lowry. I am also on the waiting list for season tickets as I have been so frustrated and if sucessful will probably go ahead and buy but will have to try for the cheepest due to the increase in cost.
I have noticed that there are web sites selling tickets for hundreds of pounds where you have to collect your ticket at a city center hotel a few hours before the match.
I think it is a disgrace that people can make so much money out of ordinary, decent fans who just want to go a few times a year to OT and see their hero's live.
Sorry Scholes_18, I have not been much help to you but I am also keen to see if anyone has any comments to make. Watching this thread with interest
