Brighton have signed England defender Gabby George from Manchester United for a six-figure fee.
The 29-year-old joined United in September 2023 and won the FA Cup in 2024, but wanted to leave for more playing time. 
George began her senior career at Everton in 2014, making her first-team debut at 17 and going on to play 126 times for the club across nine years. 
The defender represented England through every youth level from the U17s to the U23s before making her senior debut in 2018.
