Barclays Premier League clubs have revealed they spent £70.7million on agents' fees last season.


Manchester City were by far the biggest spenders, shelling out almost £13m during dates covering last winter and the recently closed summer transfer window.

Chelsea, bankrolled by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, paid out about £9.5m - the second highest - with Liverpool third on £6.7m and Tottenham Hotspur writing cheques worth £6.1m.

Manchester United, by contrast, spent just £1.5m, while Premier League new boys Burnley were parted with the least amount of money - less than £500,000.
