THE CUP IS SEEN AS LESS OF A PRIOROTY AGAINST THE PL AND THE EUROPEAN CUPS WHERE THE MOST SPONSORSHIP AND RIGHTS MONEY ARE!

I think the the arse proved that yesterday, with their changed line up. I would like a bet that when they go back to Stoke in a few weeks, there will be a few changes in the line up.

Despite what ITV, SKY etc try to make out the FA Cup just isn't as important as it used to be, over the last few seasons even teams like blackburn, m'boro, bolton have been fielding weakened sides.

As for Arsenal they've changed the line up and subsequently been knocked out of both domestic cup competitions which they probably could have won with a strong first eleven, even though they're not guarenteed to win (or come close to winning) the league or the European Cup.

I must say, though, that the Welsh were excellent hosts. I went to Cardiff a few times and stayed, mostly, in a guesthouse on the opposite side of the River Taff from the stadium! Great fried breakfast and a gentle stroll to watch the match. When we went in 2006 for the Carling Cup, we found a great 4 star golf and country club just outside Cardiff. So good, there were even TV screens in the bath!!!!

You don't get that in Brent, eh, lol?

Compare:

Bryn Meadows Golf and Country Club:

Holiday Inn, Brent:

There is a bit of a difference, eh?

This years F.A cup is not that much in talk of the town.
Bad play of leading teams is responsible for that.
Now its in Cardiff. Thats again a set back for the football lovers.

Eh? Not in Cardiff!

Anyway, I wonder how many honorary Stoke fans we'll have on this website for the next round? Make me one, lol!

Some teams have been drawn against other teams in a round of the cup. Bothered? Nah!
