While I am a great admirer of the attitude of Fletch this season - he is helping to pull United through this tough spell - is he really the great player, i.e. World class, that United are used to having? I have tremendous respect for him, as he really rolled his sleeves up and worked so hard to make it into the 1st team. However, is he the sort of player a GREAT team can be built around? Maybe he needs better players around him? Leave the creative side to someone else (like a Modric, Dale?) and clear up the midfield? That way, maybe there is a way to build a team round him?
