i actually don't think he'll be a United "legend"...prolly a class player that'll be around and get many caps, but i feel he's not a strong defender, needs someone like Rio or Vidic around him

I honestly think he could be he has been playing great the last few months and now I see what Fergie sees in him.

Yes the star for the future if he continues to instill and build upon that self confidence in himself when he was called to cover for the then injured Rio.Yes that is another steve bruce and vidic in the making.

I watched Jonny score from the corner for Northern Ireland last weekend and it was just the way we have come to expect from Ferdinand and Vidic. He is being well schooled by those 2 masters of football. I hope he makes a lifetime committment to united. I also hope his wee brother Cory follows in his footsteps
