Nice try, but as I will get mine at 9am on Friday and it was Andy's idea, I think there may be an issue with who had United!! A league of Uniteds it is, then?!!?

lol well we wont go at it with our handbags over a video game, any team will do me (except scouse, bluenoses or chelski)

so the next man to pm with the words ‘UTD” can be the mighty reds
and young donlerz won the race, sorry mick.

seemed to be the fairest way of choosing

It's oh so quiet on here tonight. I wonder if the rest are getting an early night ready to nip to Game at midnight to fetch their copy of FIFA10? I have had my local branch call me up, send a text and then an e-mail trying to persuade me to come down tonight to get it! I will be nicely tucked up in my bed, with the other half, so I'm ready to go get it when the store opens.
I've got jobs to do, lol, but I think they won't get done tomorrow. Not a chance!

Fair play to donlerz to get United. I hate playing as anyone else, but maybe we get an International set of matches as well, maybe we can recreate the old Home Internationals?? Of course, I'll let yous guys fight over Ireland and I'll be happy to represent England.

I'll probably pick a foreign team as my club, though. Hmm, I've got all day to test them out...

Manchester United 1 v 0 Manchester City

2nd October, 2009 - Old Trafford.

A tight encounter, saw Tevez lne up from the start against his former club. The United fans were respectful throughout the game, simply chanting United songs and getting behind their team. Also good to report that there were no repeats of the coin throwing or fans running on the pitch!

Plenty of ball retention by United, looking to break down their opponents, moving the ball from one wing to the other, where Nani and Valencia operated effectively. Rooney and Berbatov starting up front linked well.

The goal came, surprisingly enough, in extra time. And it was Rio Ferdinand, up from the back, who appeared at the back post from a United corner who sealed the win.

OK, to the gameplay. I thought very smooth. Yes, an improvement on 09, as the defending players actually tackle without having to slide in and give away free kicks. The game responds fast to commands. There is the new option to create set pieces across the field, so it is becoming more user friendly and life-like.

Only played 1 exhibition game, but I'm sure we'll find other improvements as we go along!

The new 'My Live Season' is cool, too. It downloads the data from matches played this season, including yellow cards, suspensions, injuries, transfers, etc and then you can go and play that match! Same starting 11, but then you call the shots. Hmm, I'm rusty. United just drew with Birmingham 0-0 1st game of the season!
I can't play this new game!!! I'm bloomin' useless, lol! I hadn't played 09 for a little while, but I couldn't beat Sheffield Wednesday! What's that about???? Now I just drew 0-0 with Burnley. I want my money back, lol!

I will maybe play a little more before I look to challenge :-)

Has anyone else got it yet? What do you think?
