It'd be a terrible shame for Hargreaves if this injury continues to affect his career. It'd also be a big loss for United. Owen is a genuinely world class midfielder. When he got a run in the team towards the end of the season before last I thought he was fantastic. There was a game in the Champions League (second leg against Roma?) where I thought he really started to show us what he can do.

This can only be bad. Hargreaves is a great player but his injuries really affect him. Hopefully he can stay injury free for a decent amount of this season but that would be pretty hard to accomplish.
