Is Nani a Manchester United Player?
#31
Nani is an incredible player - he is still developing! Give him time and he will come good. His skills are exceptional - decision making can improve.

I believe that Nani is the most naturally gifted player currently in the premiership. Now that he is no longer under the shadow of Roni he will shine and all the United Nani bashers will be eating their words at the end of the season. If you watched him on the games this tour you will see that he has been steadily improving in his work rate and confidence. Over the next couple of seasons United have some awesome talent coming through and Nani will be in that mix. Exciting times ahead for REAL UNITED FANS

I believe Fergie knows what he's doing with Nani, but could be his last season if he doesn't do the business this term. Good player on his day, need to concentrate more and be a little less selfish.

He seems to be relishing everything going on at the moment. The fact Ronaldo has gone has perhaps changed his mentality a little as well as now getting a chance to play down the right on his natural foot. He's been very good this pre season with a few assists. But as mentioned, this season is a big one for him as if he fails, it could be his last at Utd.

Ive never liked Nani, imho he shouldnt be in the United squad. If he doesnt perform this season i can see him leaving at the end of the season.

You can't question his talent. He's got good acceleration and quick feet. He can play down either flank. He can beat a man, he can strike a ball and he's a god crosser of a football. What else do you need in a winger?

Well, you need positional sense, you need a willingness to track back and you need better decision making. At the moment he wastes too many attacking situations by shooting from distance when there's a better option and his failures to track back makes him a liability.

Fortunately the problems are all things that can be fixed as he becomes more experienced. That said, there comes a point where he needs to knuckle down and deal with the problems in his game. Say what you like about Ronaldo but he trained hard and became a better player. Now it's time that Nani did the same.
