Justice For Fletch!!!
#1
I have to admit i was one of those reds questioning Fletchers ability a few years back when he seemed to me a liability?Giving the ball away, running around like a headless chicken! But how he has grown into an integral part of the way the team plays these days!He is one of the names on the teamsheet i now look for in the big games esp?The guy sweats blood for the cause and did so again tonight with a WORLD CLASS tackle only to be sent off and miss probably the biggest game of his career so far!The powers that be surly must take in to account that the referee has dropped a major bollock and re-sind the card allowing him to fulfill a once in a lifetime dream and something he has worked so hard for?Sir Alex said a few years ago that Fletch would be a top player for us and how right he was,and how wrong i was.

I think it is time that the fourth offical were able to view the TV coverage before these decisions are confirmed. It doesn't make sence that the whole world can see what is going on because of TV replays but the referee cannot.
Even if this is not possible there should be a mechanism in place for an appeal to be lodged.
I'm sure the referee knows now that he made an error of judgement. Surely he should be able to make representations to the governing body

hard luck 4 fletcher, but it does mean the barca defender sent off will stay suspended as well, both there 1st choice full backs out and a centre back injuried. got to be good for united.

i think it is a joke, to be honest, the ref must know it was a mistake to send him off, if he watched a replay of the "foul", if he admitted it was a mistake, fletch would be alright to play imo.

Gutted to hear bout Fletcher..the most deserving player and honest one too!
But i guess the letter of the law has to be upheld, cant say I am too upset that Abidal (although also wrongly sent off) wont be around for the final.
