Quote:Manchester United winger Nani has held positive talks with Turkish club Fenerbahce, according to Sky sources.

Fenerbahce have not yet agreed a deal with United and they are one of several clubs interested in the Portuguese winger.

United bought the 28-year-old from Sporting Lisbon for 25.5million euros in 2007, and he has three years left to run on his current deal.

Manchester United have agreed a fee with Torino for Italy international right-back Matteo Darmian, according to Sky Italia sources.

Talks between the clubs have been ongoing and, after rejecting United's first two bids, Torino have agreed to sell their prized defender for £12.7million (€18m).

Darmian is a versatile defender who is capable of playing in either full-back spot, though his favoured position is on the right, but also has experience at centre-half and at 6ft tall offers a strong aerial presence.

Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Torino defender Matteo Darmian after agreeing a four-your contract with the player, according to Sky sources.

United have already settled on a fee of £12.7m with Torino which could rise to £14.4m if the player reaches certain incentives.

The final details of the deal are being ironed out and one of those involves paying a fee to AC Milan, who developed the player.

Fenerbahce are confident of completing a deal to sign Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.

The Turkish club's director Guiliano Terraneo travelled to London to discuss a potential deal with United chiefs for the 31-year-old Netherlands striker, who has one year left on his contract at Old Trafford.

Who will lead the line, then? Chicharito has a broken collar bone, so that would leave Rooney and Wilson as the only recognised strikers at the club
