Neville Faces FA Rap / Tevez Rant
#1
When Carlos Judas took the bitters penalty last night, it seems that Gary Nev was warming up on the touchline, bating his former team-mate, like we all saw Rooney doing. However, the money-grabbing Argentine was a little fired-up, to say the least and his hand gesture, mimicking chatting was aimed at our club captain.

Gary Nev responded with his own salute to the goalscorer. He simply raised his middle finger. Bad news, though, was that this was caught on camera and the FA is now considering charging him! Whoops!

GOOD OLD NEV!
never one to let the side down altho i do think he needs to think alittle more sometimes, hes obviuosly got into his (tevez) head so just leave it at that the last thing we can do with it more unavailible defenders! i also believe a simple laugh would have wound up the little argentine girl more!

was this on the the carling cup first leg?
im confused...

Yes, it was. They were talking about it on TalkSPORT this morning and it is in the papers. It wasn't caught by the TV cameras, as far as I know.

Why are you confused, P211?

what do people think about nev?? still play a part or past it?

Got a part to play in the PL and can certainly teach the twins a lot. A great leader, but maybe the end is getting close. He certainly wouldn't feature in every United game and there lies a problem. Look at Birmingham. They are looking good at the moment, because they haven't swapped around the line up. No squad rotation for the sake of it for them. Consistency works for them.

Shame, though. Wears the shirt with so much pride!

Yeah ive seen him be embarrassed on some occasions and like u say we need consisatancy at the back to sure things up, u look at evra, plays week in week out and he must be the stand out player of the season by some way.
i love garys enthusiasm and desire and he could teach the younger ones many things about what it means to wear a united shirt (we have alot of players at the moment that dont understand the united mentality) but u can also see him getting frustrated with himself when he cant do the things he used to.

if neville gets fined why dosnt tevez????

BECAUSE HES A UNITED PLAYER!

Spot on. Took the words right out my mouth.

Why would the FA charge him? This was a Football League competition, bound by the Football League rules and regulations. Am I splitting hairs?
