Owen out for 3 weeks
#1
Michael owen has been ruled out for utd for 3 weeks after coming of after only 20 minutes against wolfsburg last night, he was suffering from this groin injury for the last few days and now he has damaged it more.

Speaking after the game SAF confirmed that owen picked up this injury on sunday, but trianed monday and sat out training on tuesday so that he would be available to choose for last nights game as it was always his plan to play him.

No doubt owen will be wanting back as soon as possible as in three weeks time we have the wheel stealers at anfield and he will be rearing to go.

So come on Owen GET FIT SOON!!!

Yes, Michael, get fit soon. He gives us another option up front, as he plays the last man so well. OK, so he isn't as fast as in his prime, but he has a great football brain.
I wonder why SAF decided to risk him, though? If not 100% fit, there was always the danger of the injury becoming worse. Still, hindsight is a wonderful thing!
Time for Macheda to get a chance from the bench?

Its a shame as its come just as he has got properly match fit.

Well every cloud has a silver lining, hopefully we will se more or Welbeck and Macheda.

And how about coming off the bench and scoring a last minute winner at Anfield as a nice return.

#6
That is good news, cos I'm just reading the Sun (it must be true) and the mdeical staff at United actually sent Michael to hospital for a scan, as they were worried that the injury was actually more serious than a simple strain.

i saw it on mu.com so id believe that before the tabloids!
