I think he deserves it, he is a great player, if he can stay fit he will be fantastic this season.

in an ideal world, owen scores a brace at anfield and we go on to win the league, leaving the bindippers trophyless yet again. i'll definitely put a bet on for him scoring against them anyway!
oh, forgot to say, bot owen's goals are infront of the kop aswell!

I would say he will score even more if given a chance to play more often. He can "smell" the goals as seen from pre-season matches.
