Tough choice between Keano and Paul Scholes . I am going to opt for Scholes simply because of the quiet way he conducts himself off the pitch and the world class midfielder he is on the pitch , an inspiration to youngsters on how to play the modern midfield role , passing the ball then moving to receive and knowing exactly when to arrive in the box to notch a goal or two .....shame about his tackles but hey you cant have it all can you

This got me thinking - so many wonderful players but i think my favourite was Bryan Robson. The guy would give everything for the cause, even when we were not winning everything.
Of the older generation it would have to be Giggsy but I love the way Wayne Rooney plays football
