I have to admit i was one of those reds questioning Fletchers ability a few years back when he seemed to me a liability?Giving the ball away, running around like a headless chicken! But how he has grown into an integral part of the way the team plays these days!He is one of the names on the teamsheet i now look for in the big games esp?The guy sweats blood for the cause and did so again tonight with a WORLD CLASS tackle only to be sent off and miss probably the biggest game of his career so far!The powers that be surly must take in to account that the referee has dropped a major bollock and re-sind the card allowing him to fulfill a once in a lifetime dream and something he has worked so hard for?Sir Alex said a few years ago that Fletch would be a top player for us and how right he was,and how wrong i was.

Wayne Rooney wants to end his career at Manchester United and is ready to sign a new contract with the club.
The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford for £26million in 2004 and still has three years remaining on his contract.
He is quoted in The Sunday Telegraph as saying: "I am happy here and I'd sign a new contract at any time.
"I want to stay at this club for the rest of my career. I will sign an extension any time the club wants me to."
