Louis Van Gaal or Jose Mourinho?
Posted by: Noucamp99 - 26-04-2016, 11:33 AM - Forum: The Lounge - Replies (4)

What with all the paper talk about LVG going, regardless of the FA Cup Final, I wanted to try to get your thoughts on this. Do you want him to stay? if he goes, do you want Jose here, or someone else?

A simple click of your mouse and no words are needed, if you are shy, lol. Tell us what you think.

Hey guys,
long time Man Utd fan/supporter (since I can remember). Originally from the Lancashire, but moved to Oz in my early 20s, been here 26 years.

Looking forward to seeing United hit the dizzy heights of the Ferguson era again.

Let's see if we can knock off the scousers tonight

Quote:Guillermo Varela goal's secured a 3-2 win at Tottenham that sealed the U21 Premier League title for Manchester United.

The result moved United above title rivals Sunderland - who have played all their games - with two games to spare.

United's side boasted a host of names that have been promoted to the first-team fold by Louis van Gaal this season, including Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Paddy McNair, Donald Love, Andreas Pereira and match-winner Varela.

Defender Love, who has been overlooked by Van Gaal since his breakthrough in February, hammered United ahead inside 10 minutes with his first goal in three-and-a-half years before Varela crossed for Pereira to clinically finish to make it 2-0.

William Miller reduced the arrears for the dominant Tottenham, who were thwarted time and again by the impressive Joel Pereira in the United goal, until Joe Pritchard tapped in from close range after Love, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira squandered good openings.

United were not to be outdone, however, with Varela popping up with a fantastic winner to seal Warren Joyce side's third title in four years.

Jose Mourinho to United or Not?
Posted by: Noucamp99 - 19-04-2016, 11:34 AM - Forum: Man Utd News - Replies (1)

Following all the gossip and suggestions that it was a done deal, Sky Sports report this morning that PSG are after Jose:

Quote:Paris Saint-Germain have made an approach to Jose Mourinho to become their new manager this summer, according to Sky sources.

PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is understood to have instigated the approach to Mourinho - via his agent Jorge Mendes - immediately after PSG's Champions League exit at the hands of Manchester City last week, having grown frustrated at the club's lack of progress in Europe under Laurent Blanc.

Sky Sports News HQ understands Mourinho's preference is to wait until the end of the season and monitor any developments at Manchester United, although he does consider PSG a credible choice for his return to management and is considering his options.
