RE: Anderson Speculation - RambleOnRed - 29-01-2010 From the Club's site that in turn quotes The Sun (http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid={C7DF7CEC-3BC3-4859-A3FD-FE4AAD215DD8}&redirectorid=news_story&newsid=6645859) Anderson's future lies with Lyon Quote:Anderson was poised to make his escape from Old Trafford last night. He is on the verge of a loan move to Lyon, which could include a swap deal involving French international keeper Hugo Lloris. Manchester United's misfit midfielder, fined £80,000 this week for going AWOL back home in Brazil, hopes to resurrect his career in France after falling out of favour with boss Alex Ferguson. The 21-year-old flew home to meet up with Vasco Da Gama officials when he should have been training in Manchester. A spokesman for his agents, Gestifute, confirmed the Lyon link. He said: "We are working towards some authorisation with United. The subject could be closed this weekend." It is thought Lloris, 23, would welcome a switch to the Prem. But he must be convinced it is in his best interests to understudy current United No 1 Edwin van der Sar, now 39. If Lloris arrives, Fergie will know that both Ben Foster and Tomasz Kuszczak will have serious questions to be answered about their Old Trafford goalkeeping futures. RE: Anderson Speculation - Phil-M.U.F.C. - 29-01-2010 just read this...Lyon seem interested in him Anderson in Lyon link Reports claim United want Lloris included in any deal Manchester United midfielder Anderson is wanted by Lyon, according to the Brazil international's agents. Anderson's future at Old Trafford has been the subject of recent speculation after he was left out of the squad for United's last two games. Reports have claimed that Anderson paid an unauthorised visit back to Brazil and he is in line to be fined two weeks' wages. He was linked with a move to Vasco da Gamain his homeland, although the club have played down suggestions they could sign the 21-year-old. However, Lyon may be able to offer Anderson a route out of United after the player's representatives confirmed the interest from the French giants. A spokesman for his agents Gestifute told The Sun: "We are working towards some authorisation with United. "The subject could be closed this weekend." There are suggestions that United will look to have the highly-rated goalkeeper Hugo Llorisincluded any deal which would see Anderson head to Stade Gerland. Anderson has made 96 appearances for the Red Devils since joining from Porto in 2007 and his only goal arrived in the 3-1 win at Tottenham earlier this season. source: skysports.com RE: Anderson Speculation - Dj Quick - 29-01-2010 He probably needs loaned out but not turning up to training etc isnt good for anyone RE: Anderson Speculation - Phil-M.U.F.C. - 29-01-2010 It is a big possibility he will be loaned.
