I guess it's about the right price, unless you are prepared to join One United. We joined last year, like previous years for £23 (I think) each and then applied for pretty much every home game that was over a weekend. We were prepared to travel from Essex to as many as we could get to, but then us is just myself and my fiancee.
We didn't join this year, but only because of the recession and the chance of job losses. We went to the Community Shield game and hope to get to at least one game in the New Year. I think there might be a high cost involved if we go a second time, as this may involve someone else's ticket.
I'm pretty sure that when I've 'borrowed' a season ticket, I've paid in the region of £100! I guess it depends upon your personal circumstances and what you feel is right, tbh.
