Vidic on Trial for Violent Conduct On Rodallega
#1
Well someone’s about to go get herself a little powdered barrister wig and go all Legally Blonde: UK. Because it appears Nemanja Vidic is facing a trial for an alleged slap to the face of Wigan Athletic’s Hugo Rodallega.

The English FA have announced they will review the footage of Saturday’s match and pass a judgment which could see the Serbian defender out for 3 matches.

Manchester United already suffer a weakened defense with Rio Ferdinand out for another 2 weeks, and Jonny Evans needing surgery and looking noticeably hurt while stepping off the pitch at the DW stadium this weekend.

Referree Howard Webb said he did not see the incident occur, but Howard Webb’s record of vision isn’t exactly anything to go by (he does have a price on his head in Poland). I didn’t see the slap either. And I follow the movement of Vidlicious like a hawk. He’s innocent!

I’m channeling Elle Woods as we speak. I think I’m going to go for more of an Marie Antoinette (in robes) and less for John Cleese in “A Fish Called Wanda” look.
