I think most of the squad know exactly where they'll stand with him in charge, he'll rightly command their respect.
Playing from defense he'll see all that will go on in front of him and so, as you have said, he's a good choice.
Maybe it was one of the stipulations he made, before he would sign his new contract.
I just hope that the added responsibility of the Captaincy doesn't detract from his normal game.
Rio I feel sorry for, but until he can prove his fitness on a regular basis, he'll just have to accept it, the way things are.
