I herd from a mate the glazers will be getting money of companys that pay debt for people errmmmm sounds like a MUCH bigger mess and cant be true whats the point in that then?

thanks for the explaination and now i kind of understand, altho now i do i like it even less its just debt consolidation what happens when these bonds mature and we cant afford to pay it back?

I don't know if the banks could accept an offer to settle at a lower rate? Like 50p for every pound owed. Well, likely a higher low rate (if that makes sense) at 80 or 90p for every pound? It might make everyone happier, although they'd lose the interest payments. I don't know, really.
