Because they are sick of the cheating frog scum. I doubt it'll do any good, but hey, it is better to have died trying than to never have tried! Ricky Hatton's mum said that on the radio yesterday when they question Ricky wanting to fight again.

Anyway, good luck to them. Raise the roof and let the public, the frogs and the spineless idiots at FIFA know you are not happy. It's good to let off steam as a group, rather than rant at the computer, eh?

Good luck.

1: The frogs have admitted they cheated there way there. even there president says they got lucky.

Hosts France were kept completely quiet in the first half by an Ireland team burning with passion, conviction and the desire to battle for every ball. Robbie Keane’s strike not long after the half-hour was just reward for the efforts the visitors had put in and it took heroics from France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to limit the damage to one goal. Les Bleus came into the contest after the break but remained vulnerable to Irish attacks, meaning the tie had to be resolved in extra time, when William Gallas equalised to send his team through to their fourth consecutive finals.

New developments in this

Quote:Fifa president Sepp Blatter has confirmed Republic of Ireland have requested the World Cup be expanded to facilitate their inclusion.

Ireland missed out on a place in South Africa next summer following Thierry Henry's now infamous handball in their play-off qualifier.

Henry controlled the ball with his hand before crossing for William Gallas to score and help France secure a 2-1 aggregate success in Paris.

With a replay out of the question Blatter has revealed that Ireland have yet to give up hope of featuring in the prestigious tournament.

However, Blatter says that Costa Rica would also then have to be included as they felt they were undone by an offside goal against Uruguay.

"We received a delegation from Ireland and they were naturally absolutely unhappy at what has happened," explained Blatter. "They know the match cannot be replayed and the decision of the referee is final.

"Naturally they have not asked for any sanctions to be given to any player or the referee, but they have asked, very humbly 'can't we be team No.33 at the World Cup? They have asked for that, really.

"I will bring it to the attention of the executive committee but if we do that, we will also have to bring in Costa Rica."

Yeah, I just saw that on the screen in our reception area at work. My supplier was chatting to me, but I was reading the banner across the bottom of the screen. Whoops! He asked me a question and I just didn't hear. Concentrate!

I can't see it happening, myself, but the FAI are right to pursue every opportunity, I think.
