Tyler Blackett and Guillermo Varela are set to be sold by Manchester United after Jose Mourinho deemed them surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

Neither Blackett, a central defender, nor Varela, a full-back, are currently training with the United first-team squad, an indication that they will play no part in Mourinho's plans for the future.

Manchester United have had an £85m bid for Paul Pogba rejected by Juventus, according to Sky in Italy.

United had the offer turned down on Tuesday but have reportedly been told by the Italian champions that a world-record transfer fee in excess of £100m for the France midfielder would be accepted.

It is understood Juventus have now accepted Pogba wants to leave the club, although the cost of the deal has already priced Real Madrid out of the market.

Manchester United striker James Wilson could be on his way out of Old Trafford after being left out of the club's pre-season tour of China.

The 20-year-old had a spell on loan at Brighton last season after failing to secure a regular place at United and, despite featuring in the 2-0 friendly win at Wigan in Jose Mourinho's first match in charge, he will not travel to the Far East.

Unfortunately not.

Quote:Manchester United and Eintracht Frankfurt have reached agreement for Guillermo Varela to join the Bundesliga club on a season-long loan, effective until 30 June 2017.

The Uruguayan defender came on as a substitute in Jose Mourinho's first game in charge of United, the 2-0 friendly win at Wigan Athletic last weekend, but with his temporary move to Germany in progress, he did not travel to China on Tour 2016, presented by Aon.

Since making his senior Reds debut in a goalless home draw against West Ham United on 5 December 2015, Varela has made a total of 10 starts for the first team. He also scored the dramatic title-clinching goal for the Under-21s last season against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

The South American has previously enjoyed a season away from Old Trafford with Real Madrid's Castilla side following his move to Manchester from Uruguayan club Penarol in the summer of 2013

Adnan Januzaj wants to leave Manchester United permanently after being left out of Jose Mourinho's first-team squad.

The Belgium forward's contract runs until 2018, and the club have indicated a preference for him to leave on loan.

However, Januzaj has been left so disappointed by his treatment, he would prefer a permanent transfer.

The 21-year-old has been linked with Sunderland, managed by former United boss David Moyes, while there has also been interest from Spain and Italy.

Napoli and Roma are interested in signing Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian, according to Sky sources.

Darmian joined United last summer from Torino but his form dipped after a promising start to his Old Trafford career.

The 26-year-old recently stated his intention to fight for his place at United but he failed to earn a spot in the match-day squad for either the FA Community Shield win over Leicester or Sunday's 3-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Stoke assistant manager Mark Bowen claims the club are hopeful of signing defender Phil Jones from Manchester United in the next week.

The 24-year-old was highly-rated by former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and current England manager Sam Allardyce when he made his breakthrough at Blackburn, but has been hampered by injuries since his arrival at Old Trafford in June 2011.
Although he has stated that United would be his last European club, it seems Bastian Schweinsteiger upset a few teammates last season, after they told him to stop watching wife Ana Ivanovic play tennis and work on his fitness before he was cast out
