England coach Fabio Capello has confirmed he knows everything about the John Terry scandal as speculation continues over the Chelsea star's future as captain.

Sky sources understands Terry is to hold a meeting with Capello by the end of the week to disucss the captaincy situation.

The Football Association confirmed on Monday Capello will decide Terry's fate alone following revelations of an alleged affair with the former girlfriend of England team-mate Wayne Bridge.

There have been calls for Terry to be stripped of the captaincy while reports suggest Bridge is considering his international future in the wake of the episode.

Capello, who has been recovering from knee surgery in his holiday home in Switzerland, has been monitoring the fall-out of the scandal and he is prepared to meet Terry later this week when he returns to England.

"I know everything, I can't say anything at the moment but I will be back in London on Thursday," Capello told the Daily Mail.

FA chief executive Ian Whatmore reaffirmed Capello will make the decision on whether Terry keeps the captaincy or not.

"Having appointed Fabio and co, it's their call on all matters to do with the playing side and the captaincy," Watmore told The Guardian.

Ha ha, well done that man. Dale was the same when he 1st came on here and we suggested he read his posts before pressing the reply button to make sure the language was acceptable. He's much better these days. And that's not because he isn't on at the moment!

As for JT, it's great that he says he isn't being affected and is still focussed on footie, cos a focussed JT led chelski to Hull for a 1-1 draw! I wonder what his missus thinks about him being focussed on footie after the revelations of him cheating (again) came out.

But one disappointing thing is the way the British press work. We build people up, in all walks of life, just so the press can then go snooping in their bins and scrape up any old crap to knock them down. Remember how they treated Wazza over the prostitute allegations? Neither of these English heroes killed anyone, but you would think they had, eh?
