  Van Der Sars Replacement?
Posted by: WatchMUFC - 28-11-2009, 07:30 PM - Forum: The Lounge - Replies (21)

After Ben Fosters recent poor displays and Kuszczaks impressive display against portsmouth I thiought thos would be a good thread.

When Edwin Van Der Sar retires do you think either,
Ben Foster or Tomasz Kuszczak will be good enough replacements for the top keeper jersey at Old Trafford or should the gaffer go into the transfer market for a new keerper?

If you vote for New Keeper please state who.

Posted by: DaleDaManc - 28-11-2009, 06:40 PM - Forum: The Lounge - Replies (36)

HAHA i had a long argument at the live game against pompey here with a few fan's.
i was saying Michael Carrick is not Manchester united material. lets face it he would start for...

Liverpool (gerrard + mascrano)
Chelsea (lampard + balack)
Man City (ireland + barry)
Arsenal (fabergas + arsavin)
Spurs (modric + huddlestone)

He is very average!

Ferdinand says Fergie's speech in Moscow was inspiring
Posted by: blah_united - 28-11-2009, 05:56 PM - Forum: The Lounge - Replies (3)

“I’ll never forget the manager’s speech in Moscow,” said Rio. “Before the game he just plunked his chair in the middle of the dressing room and just started a random conversation totally unrelated to football. But it just settled everybody’s nerves and before we knew it his talk switched to words of pure inspiration, reminding all the players that whatever you do in life is to achieve your goals. And, of course, it worked. We won the game.”
