Firstly i would like to say anybody who feels that we will not miss Ronaldo are a little be deluded. Any team in the world would miss such a player, he is a true great. His goal threat in past three seasons was phenomenal. Yes we will miss him but we are united and we will move on.
Can i just say that i feel the club is moving in the right direction, and all of the negative fans need to really look at themselves.
Here are all of the my points i would like to but forward
1. We have won 6 out of 7 league games this season. At times we have played some fantastic football. But in every game especially away from home (bar Burnley) we have looked so solid and very combative. I remember about 4 weeks ago we were all evaluating are up and coming games which were Arsenal, Spurs, Besiktas, and Man City, alot of fans were saying if we can win 2 of these games and get 2 draws we will be very happy. Well look what has happened we have won all 4 of these games and baring a bit of luck against Arsenal we have dominated all of the other games. We have started really well, much better than the last 2 seasons
2. We have Owen Hargreaves coming back to fitness. All being well amid newspaper reports that he will never make a full recovery. If he does then we have one of the best combative box to box midfielders in Europe. He gives us so many options he can play right back, and right midfield. As i said in previous posts i will not be totally happy until i see him in a united shirt again and has a few games under his belt. I would love to Hargreaves and Fletcher in the middle with either Giggs or Anderson from the left given the freedom to room.
3. The form of Darren Fletcher. They say when a big player leaves a club that other players step up to the task. Well Darren Fletcher is one who has done that. He may not have the guile of Ronaldo but his industry from he middle of the park is so essential to us. I feel he has been the most consistant midfielder in the league this season. There are alot of fans with egg on their face regarding Darren. Every part of his game has improved. He is still only 25 and he is a player who wants to improve even furthur and i am sure he will. If he was english we would be raving about him now.
4. We are top of the league without Edwin Van Der Sar. Even though he is getting on in years he is still our number one. I wonder how Chelsea and Liverpool would cop without Cech or Reina for the first 3 months of the season. It would be interesting to see?
5. We have some exciting young players. Evans, Raefal, Fabio, Wellbeck, Macheda, Gibson, Obertan. These players but us in a great position. Add to that Anderson, Valencia, Nani and Rooney then we have to be positive. With Lljaic and Diouf coming in January the list of exciting younger players grow. I know we run on about these youngsters but if we compare this to those of Liverpool and Chelsea then we have the right to be excited.
So to all fans out there i just feel that we have alot more to be excited about than not.

The Manchester United Supporters' Trust (MUST) is the official Supporters Trust of Manchester United Football Club. They have launched a new scheme, called Reds in Business (RIB). This is an opportunity for any United supporter with business interests to meet like minded supporters ahead of games at Old Trafford. Note that they don't supply match tickets, lol. Having said that, if you are in business, in the area, but not going to the match, they still want you to join in. This is the mailshot I received:
If you know any business people who are United supporters please forward the following information regarding the first REDS IN BUSINESS event.
REDS IN BUSINESS - FIRST MEETING - Sat 3rd Oct, Premier Inn Old Trafford
REDS IN BUSINESS is a new business network exclusively for Manchester
United supporters. Membership (free) already stands at over 1,000 business
people in just 3 months of word of mouth promotion. For background on RIB
see "RECENT RIB MEDIA COVERAGE" below (Duncan Drasdo, MUST Chief Executive,
will also be featuring on BBC Radio Manchester Business Show around 6.30pm
on Monday 28th Sep).
The first meeting takes place at the Premier Inn right next to Old Trafford
on Sat 3rd October before the Sunderland home game.
We'll be keeping the main business session nice & concise - running from
2.15pm to 3.30pm but pleased come earlier if you can.
More details are below including provision for friends, partners and
children. NB. you do not need to be attending the game to attend the RIB
meeting. There is no dress code - it's the weekend, we're all Reds, where
what you like.
Business session:
2:15pm - 3.30pm the UK authority on business networking, Will Kintish, will
be leading the first RIB networking session. He will be whipping us into
shape - helping us all to meet and get to know other Reds In Business.
You'll know when you've been Kintished!
Optional - we'd be delighted if you can also come earlier and/or stay later
(friends and family welcome too) details below:
Alex Stepney:
1pm - 2:15pm Alex Stepney will be our guest (photos & autographs) during
registration and optional lunch (bar menu & restaurant) but he must leave
at 2.15pm sharp.
Social session:
3.30pm - Kickoff (5:30) - option to stay at the venue to socialise, invite
your friends/family to join you, meet others elsewhere before the match or
head off home.
This is the first meeting of RIB and we're honoured to have United legend
Alex Stepney joining us for the first hour. After that we have the number
one UK networking guru Will Kintish (http://www.kintish.co.uk) leading our
meeting following which there is plenty of time (up to 2 hours) to meet up
with family/friends or to stay and network/socialise at the venue. Note the
game will also be screened live on Sky at the Premier Inn.
PROVISION FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY
If you normally attend the game (or meet up before) with friends or family
this needn't be an obstacle to attending as we will make provision for them
during the Kintish business session and they are most welcome before or
after this anyway.
Friends and family are welcome to attend prior to the networking meeting
and/or join us afterwards. Additionally we'll provide some dedicated Little
Devils tables for younger Reds to entertain themselves and meet new friends
during the formal hour of the meeting. Please contact us for details if
you're bringing children.
The Premier Inn has 3 bars (with bar menu) and a restaurant as well as a
spacious lobby with internet access available. There are also lots of
nearby attractions within walking distance in addition to OT including the
Imperial War Museum and Lowry Outlet Mall while the Trafford Centre is a
short bus ride away.
Tickets £10 (no charge for accompanying family/friends not participating in
the Business Session) - advance purchase available shortly to those who've
registered on http://www.RedsIn.Biz.
I don't know if any of you guys are interested or know of any United fans who run their own business, but this might be of interest....

After the frosty reception that Carlos Teves got at Old Trafford in the derby.
What kind of reception do you think that Ronnie would get when he walks out at the Theatre of Dreams?
I personally would give him a great welcome for so many great memories and great goals he scored for us.
He was always going to go at some stage and i would say team spirit has improved since he has left but it is highly likely that one day he will play against us and i wonder how he will be recieved.
