  Man Utd vs Reading.

Well!! If this is all the talent available to Man Utd playing today against Reading, then, god help us!!!!!

Those who have been sent out to show the temp manager what they've got have in my opinion failed miserably.
Those in midfield are absolute rubbish, and should be shipped out as soon as possible.

Its hard to believe that Fred is Brazilian,he lacks composure on the ball and loses it to easily,he's a liability,as is Per,"whats his name" continually losing the ball, as is the case with that McTim,"fellow".

The defence is terrible, midfield is even worse and with Lukaku and Sanchez up front, well, we will never get into the top 4 with these people playing.

The last manager had a point in relation to both his defence and midfield.

I fear that we will not get any closer than 6th this season and I also think we will be hammered when we play Spurs NEXT.

  Solskjær Returns To United
Posted by: Noucamp99 - 19-12-2018, 09:31 AM - Forum: Man Utd News - Replies (7)

Manchester United announced today that former striker Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been appointed as caretaker manager until the end of the 2018/19 season.

Solskjær scored 126 goals in 366 appearances for United between 1996 and 2007. In 2008 he became the club’s reserve-team manager, before taking the managerial role at FC Molde in Norway.
Solskjær will take charge of the first team with immediate effect and will remain in place while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new full-time manager. He will be joined by Mike Phelan as first-team coach, working alongside Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.
“Manchester United is in my heart and it’s brilliant to be coming back in this role. I’m really looking forward to working with the very talented squad we have, the staff and everyone at the club,” said Solskjær.

Ed Woodward, Executive Vice Chairman, comments: “Ole is a club legend with huge experience, both on the pitch and in coaching roles. His history at Manchester United means he lives and breathes the culture here and everyone at the club is delighted to have him and Mike Phelan back. We are confident they will unite the players and the fans as we head into the second half of the season.”

  Who should replace Jose Mourinho?
Posted by: OwensBrightIdea - 18-12-2018, 10:37 AM - Forum: Man Utd News - No Replies

So a caretaker appointment will be made unitil the end of the season. Soon enough the odds on his replacement will be everywhere.

Before that happens, I would like to throw one name out there that not many people will consider. His team play attractive attacking football.

Eddie Howe

Let’s not forget what happened after a young ambitious Scot was appointed. We need someone to knock the scousers back off their perch once more. I’m certain Howe will not be approached, but i would be interested to see the results if he were. I am confident entertainment would once again break out at Old Trafford.
